Non Press Advert
HR Adviser (Resourcing)

Grade 6
Salary 27,054 30,030
Based Brixton

The Refugee Council has over 300 staff and works with over 300 volunteers based at several sites across England. As the organisation works in a changeable political environment, the need to be responsive to emerging demands and the wide diversity of our workforce are among the key challenges for our organisation. In order to effectively meet these, we must ensure adequate systems and support mechanisms for our operational areas.

As one of three resourcing staff in the Human Resources team, this new post is designed to provide greater advisory support for staff and managers and ensure greater management of HR information systems.

While managing a caseload of projects, you will organise your work to meet regular deadlines while maintaining quality outputs in dealing with day to day issues. Comfortable with managing sensitive information, you will build effective working relationships with your contacts and deliver a service to your customers with a thoughtful approach to problem solving.

With sufficient knowledge of the legal framework as it relates to equal opportunities and resourcing issues, you will also be a talented and diplomatic communicator in order to support and advise staff and managers in interpreting and applying a range of resourcing policies and procedures. Your previous experience of managing electronic HR systems will enable you to ensure their integrity and support ongoing production of a range of management information.

Closing date for completed applications: Friday 10th November 2006 @ 12 midday

Alternatively contact Victoria Baker by email
