Working in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council, Migrant Helpline is providing services to refugees accepted for settlement in the UK. Under this Gateway Protection Programme (GPP) we are seeking a:

Team Manager
27 863 per annum
Brighton based but travel is essential
37hrs per week

You will manage a small team providing casework support to refugees living in Brighton under the GPP. As part of a multi agency operation this team provides advice, information and assistance to enable the successful orientation and integration into local services. You will need to monitor the effectiveness of the programme and produce high quality reports, both written and verbal.

Ideally you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent and have experience of successful people management as well as networking in a social/community context. The ability to communicate effectively at a range of levels is essential as is an awareness of community cohesion issues.

The role is currently funded until 31st October 2007, but could be extended if the programme is continued.
