|
|
In Spring 2007, Asylum Aid will be re-launching its website. A major new addition to the website will be the Asylum Rights Watch facility. This feature will help us to collect more information about asylum seekers’ actual experiences in the UK, which we will use to strengthen our existing lobbying, research and campaigns activities and to identify priorities for future work.
We are looking for a volunteer, based at our new London office in Islington, to help us to promote the Asylum Rights Watch facility within the refugee/legal advice sectors and beyond, and to assist with the analysis of the submissions it receives, with a view to producing periodic reports of the evidence submitted.
The position would suit someone looking to gain experience in policy, research and campaigns work. Refugees and asylum seekers are encouraged to apply.
Please see our website for further details and a person specification:

If you are interested, please submit a copy of your CV and a covering letter demonstrating your suitability for the position and your availability, to Melanie Gower (melanieg@asylumaid.org.uk). Closing date Tuesday 10th April. Interviews w/c 16th April. |
