Ignorance is one of the biggest problems we face in our fight to promote the protection and successful integration of asylum seekers and refugees. Working within a highly politicised environment, we strive to improve policy and provision for refugees and asylum seekers, and
to inform debate on asylum, immigration, citizenship and social cohesion. Effective research has an absolutely crucial part to play in this – and so could you.
research manager
brixton, london £32,112
This vital role will see you putting our research strategy into action – working with key partners to investigate policy options, collect and communicate data, identify good practice and assess policy impact. Heading up both an internal team and a group of external community researchers, you’ll cement our Research Unit’s reputation for high quality, innovative work in a challenging and fast-paced field.
A qualified researcher with wide-ranging expertise and a background in managing multi-partner national projects, you’re more than up to the challenge. You’re a strategic thinker, a strong leader and creative problem-solver, with a real understanding of policy and its impact. You also have experience of securing funding for research programmes and, ideally, a good understanding of the needs and experiences of refugees and asylum seekers.
