Many refugees in the UK feel unwelcome, isolated and unable to rebuild their lives. As Europe’s leading refugee protection charity, we work to turn this situation around. The nationwide scale of our work, and highly charged nature of the environment within which we operate present a host of unique challenges in terms of financial control. This is why we need you.

Joining a dedicated team, you’ll accurately and promptly process income from a wide range of sources. You’ll invoice and analyse everything that comes in - maintaining our sales ledger, producing regular reports and working with colleagues in Fundraising to reconcile totals. You’ll review our procedures and chase up debts too. Crucially, you’ll also provide the information we need to produce accurate income and cash flow forecasts.

A challenge like this requires an organised, part-qualified accountant with solid financial experience including credit control and producing complex accounting reconciliations. Computer literacy is also vital, particularly with regard to computerised accounting packages. And given the often-sensitive nature of the role, we’re also looking for a confident communicator and a tactful negotiator.
