AFRUCA - AFRICANS UNITE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

Promoting the Rights and Welfare of African Children

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2006-2007

AFRUCA - Africans Unite Against Child Abuse is one of the UK's leading charities promoting the welfare of African children.

AFRUCA is launching an internship programme from November 2006 to February 2007 to provide opportunities for those interested in gaining experience working for a small but dynamic charitable organisation. Our internship programme is unpaid, although an allowance for reasonable travel expenses and lunch will be provided. The hours are also flexible to enable participants study or engage in part-time employment to support their internship.

AFRUCA's internship programme will be of interest to students in higher or further education, graduates, returners to work or those seeking a career change. We do not promise offers of paid employment after the internship. Having said that, our internship programme will provide a good opportunity to develop your skills in a number of areas with an international NGO, and add good value to your CV.

Here are details of current internship opportunities available at AFRUCA: All posts are at AFRUCA Office in London.

PA/Special Projects Officer
Project Assistant - Safeguarding African Children Project
Administrative Assistant

Deadline for receiving completed Internship Application Forms: Friday 13 October 2006
