The largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees, we work tirelessly to confront myths and positively influence public and political opinion. Our success depends heavily on our ability to deliver support, information and training to a huge range of audiences and ‘second tier’ service providers. As ours is a constantly changing, often-volatile arena, this is a real challenge – but this just makes your role all the more important and exciting.

Marketing Officer - Brixton, London £24,690

Taking a flexible and entrepreneurial approach, you’ll help plan and manage the marketing programmes that promote and sell our ‘products’ to key figures within the public and private sector. These products include publications, training courses and conferences, web-based services and others. You’ll be heavily involved in the development, market researc
h and subsequent promotion of existing and new products for this target market.

Your varied role will also see you monitoring campaign budgets and performance, as well as providing expert marketing advice to colleagues at all levels. As such, a year’s relevant marketing experience is vital, supported by a background in marketing learning events and managing external agencies. Copywriting and budget management skills are vital too, as is an understanding of e-marketing. Perhaps most importantly, you must be ready to turn your commercial skills to a dynamic and exciting voluntary sector challenge.
