Salary: £29,288 to £33,942 per annum (including London Weighting)

As a Legal Officer you will use your expertise in asylum and human rights law to represent individuals at reconsideration level before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and beyond, as well as providing advice, support and training to Team Leaders and Caseworkers throughout the organisation.

For these positions you will

• have a degree in Law, or equivalent qualifications and experience

• have experience in preparing and presenting cases before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal preferably at reconsideration level

• have in-depth knowledge of asylum and human rights law

• have the ability to provide in-depth legal training to Caseworkers

• have excellent research and analytical skills

• be computer literate in MS Office and in the use of databases
