ISLAMIC RELIEF

Requires a:

ICT Coordinator

Salary: £24,301pa (Grade 5)

Contract: One Year Fixed Term Contract

Ref: ICT/PO/1106

Requirements: The post holder should have the ability to develop the Presidentís internal update project (a website that will be available for the organization worldwide). He/She will be responsible to undertake the project in its entirety, including planning, design, testing, implementation, and full evaluation of the website. Also responsible to develop the Humanitarian Forum website in both English and Arabic and other appropriate languages. Be able to assist in providing Arabic language support to the Presidentsí office staff and also to perform all the duties according to the Job Description.

Applicants should have an in depth working knowledge to advanced level of the following applications: Website initiation, development, implementation and evaluation, Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design and Image manipulation, Database creation, Admin. skills and organising events.

Also essential are: BA in Computing, advanced level user of IT packages to include, PHP, MYSQL, Indesign, PowerPoint, Access, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Graphic Design and MS Office. In addition applicants must have excellent command over written and spoken English and Arabic.

Accounts Assistant

Salary: £16,901

Contract: Six Months Fixed Term Contract (Renewable)

Ref: ACC/A/1106

Requirements: To support the department both administratively and by ensuring accounting functions are operational on a day to day basis. He/she will be responsible for all funding received from donors, maintaining and running a quarterly credit control system, calculation of rent levies, maintain travel reports & expense reports, management of purchase orders/invoices, and monitoring of staff loans. The applicant will also be required to take general administration duties within the accounts section, assist Accounts Manager and other members of the department to ensure the smooth running of the section (and other duties as per Job Description).

Must have administrative experience in an accounts environment, possess a systematic and methodological approach to work, good communication and numerical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Database entry. A relevant qualification in Accounts or part qualified AAT/ACCA is desirable.

P.A. to Director of the Business Development Division

Salary: £24,301pa

Location: Birmingham

Contract: One year renewable fixed term contract

Ref: PA/BD/1106

Requirements: The PA will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support and ensuring the smooth running of the office. You will serve as a primary point of contact for both internal and external affairs. Proven to have a wide range of administrative skills you will be expected to provide full support to the Director of Division, including diary management, receiving, organising and answering correspondence, researching/producing reports and memos, organising events and meetings as requested.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Administration and experience of working at a senior administrative level, be able to work with strict confidentiality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to meet deadlines, organise time and priorities, able to multi task, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Fluency in Arabic is desirable.
