Operations Manager

35 hours per week, 1 year contract – Salary £32,377

Through strategic planning and effective hands on management, you will be responsible for the implementation of policies and systems for the day-to-day operation of the various teams/projects of the organisation.

As a senior manager and a member of the Senior Management Team you will assist the Chief Executive office in the effective and efficient running of the services and operation of the whole organisation.


Fundraiser / Fundraising Coordinator

Salary £24,708
35 hours per week, 1 year contract

We are a growing charity committed to providing quality support services to help the increasing number of refugees and asylum seekers in the Northern region.

This post requires a person with relevant qualifications and/or experience; who can demonstrate a sound understanding of the issues that face people who seek refuge in this country, and who has the commitment to fulfil this demanding role.

You will facilitate the implementation of a fundraising strategy. This identifies and targets new opportunities and builds on relationships with current funders in order to optimise revenue. You will be expected to maintain an awareness of other statutory and charitable trust raising programmes and other fundraising initiatives in order to promote a coherent and integrated approach to the overall fundraising programme. You will have a proven track record, including Trusts and Foundations, Corporate, Statutory and General Fundraising. You will be expected to work towards the achievement of agreed targets. You will work with the Senior Management Team

Both posts are for one year, renewable subject to the availability of funding and will be based in our Newcastle Office.
